Northeast Wisconsin Technology Coordinators Meeting

  • WiscNet 605 Science Drive Madison, WI, 53711 United States (map)

Look, listen—this cybersecurity + AI presentation for K-12 technology coordinators in Northeast Wisconsin is where the future shows up early and asks hard questions. This isn’t sci-fi. This isn’t hype for hype’s sake. This is real schools, real threats, and real tools—plus a little artificial intelligence sprinkled in to keep everyone on their toes. I am extremely charged up about this.

Here’s the thing: what people don’t understand is that K-12 tech coordinators are already doing next-level work. You’re defending networks, protecting students, supporting staff, and somehow also resetting passwords before lunch. Now AI enters the chat. Friend? Foe? Both? We’re gonna talk about it—plain language, no nonsense, no buzzword soup.

Make no mistake, this presentation is about empowerment. How AI can help spot threats faster, reduce burnout, and support smarter decision-making—and where it can go sideways if we’re not careful. Cybersecurity is still about people, process, and preparation. AI just turns the volume up.

At the end of the day, this session is about confidence. Walking back to your district knowing what matters, what doesn’t, and what questions to ask next.
